The IT department is working on a set of educational material, to make sure that town employees are aware of common phishing tactics.

The town recently completed an IT security assessment.

The town is working on a town social media policy. The current thinking is that town-related social media accounts should be tied to town email addresses, and that posts should be made through a management tool like Hootsuite. ITAC members are invited to think about what should go into a town social media policy, and provide feedback.
