Board Report to Town Meeting

Board members discuss about how the map changes for Article 32 (B1 Rezoning) were noticed. The report says ``first class mail, but the zoning bylaw requires petitioners to send notice by certified or registered mail.

Ms. Ricker says she had a discussion with Town Counsel about this. In Town Counsel's view, the Redevelopment Board would not be considered a "petitioner", so first class mail is acceptable.

For Article 33 (B1 Rezoning Map), board members suggest that the map immediately follow the article text in the report, rather than being included as an appendix. Same for Articles 35 (Administrative Correction) and 39 (adding 17 Palmer to the neighborhood multifamily district).

The board will strike part of a sentence in discussion of Article 40 (Two family in the R0 and R1 districts).

The board votes to approve the report, 5--0.
